Conference Chair by Pierre Jeanneret
Exquisite cane and teak wood Conference Chair by Pierre Jeanneret. From the illustrious Chandigarh project in India, built in 1956-1957. The chair previously located at the High Court built by Jeanneret’s cousin, Le Corbusier. This charismatic chair can dress a room on it’s own. It’s a remarkable iconic piece of furniture.
The chair is marked with a ’6′ at the bottom. It is in good condition, wear consists with age. A few strings on the seat are broken, this is easy to fix, but we prefer to keep the chair completely original
